GIOVANNI RIGONI

is the Executive Director of Techno Engineering & Associates Group (TE&A). He has over 40 years’ professional experience in the civil engineering industry at top management level with a Master Degree in Construction Law and Arbitration (Robert Gordon University of Aberdeen, Scotland), Certified FIDIC Adjudicator and Chartered Arbitrator, member of DRBF and fellow of DBF and responsible of dispute resolution proceedings.

His interest in contractual and legal aspects is obvious through his involvement for many years in Dispute Settlement on FIDIC based contracts and Contract Management thereof, having provided technical and contract management assistance to many major international Consulting Firms and Contractors. He has coordinated the commercial and technical activities of large construction companies, from tendering procedures through to the final stages of the Contracts/Projects, including Quality Assurance Control for large infrastructural projects worldwide in the construction of dams, roads, railways, bridges, tunnels, buildings, pipelines and sewerage systems, as well as relevant design activities. He is a member of multiple renowned professional bodies:

Fellow Member of CIArb “Chartered Institution of Arbitrators”; Member of DRBF “Dispute Review Board Foundation”; Member of the “Ordine Nazionale degli Ingegneri” (Order of Civil Engineers), Italy. He is determined, a team player and success-oriented, with proficiency in English and French, alongside Italian, his native language. He believes in long-term professional commitments, taking matters step-by-step and the idea that an ever-lasting building has a very strong and well-built foundation.
